We're on a mission to modernize nursing education.
Nursing education is outdated.
When I was in nursing school, it was endless PowerPoint slides, dull pictures (if any), and an assignment to read pages 4 through 300 when I got home. And from what I hear from the thousands of students we’ve helped, not much has changed—even a decade later.
Not only do you not have time for that (I didn’t either), but it’s also not the most efficient way to learn. As technology has advanced, so have our learning needs—and our expectations for content, whether educational or entertaining.
Our goal with Nurse Well Versed is to provide you with colorful, visual, and concise educational resources that not only make nursing education make sense, but make the process of learning engaging and exciting.
After all, nurses are needed now more than ever! You deserve an education that makes you feel supported and prepared.
Our Approach to Learning:
Clarity is Key
The Power of Visuals
Quality Over Quantity
It’s not just about how much you study—it’s about how you study. Active learning leads to better understanding and retention than passive memorization. Our resources are designed to help you engage with the material so you can truly absorb the information through active learning.
Comprehension Over Memorization
True comprehension of a concept creates a domino effect, making it easier to connect and apply knowledge across different topics. The more you understand, the more confident and prepared you’ll feel—both in school and in your nursing career.
Created by a nurse who has been where you are.
Allorah Foote, BSN, RN, CCRN, went from failing med-surg by just four questions to completely transforming her grades by rethinking her approach to studying. Given one final chance to pass her class, she realized she needed to find a more effective way. Up until then, she had spent hours rewriting her textbooks, struggling with test anxiety, and second-guessing her answers—often changing them to the wrong ones.
Determined to find a better way, she focused on simplifying what she was learning—creating one-page study sheets that turned complex topics into clear, visual notes using a method she calls the 5 Step Study Method . With this new approach, her grades improved by over 20 points, she finished exams faster, felt less stressed, and for the first time, felt confident and excited about what she was learning.
After graduating in 2017, Ally passed the NCLEX in 75 questions (the minimum at the time) and began her career as a nurse in telemetry before transitioning to the ICU in 2018. Throughout her years in critical care, she has trained new nurses and nursing students, helping them develop a deeper understanding of nursing concepts beyond memorization.
Nurse Well Versed was created to help nursing students overcome these same challenges—providing the tools to build confidence, strengthen understanding, and succeed in nursing school and beyond.
